Step right up to 1950s Japan! The postwar economy is booming, but the Sunflower Circus is not. Led by ringmaster Maria, the cash-strapped troupe tours the country in desperate competition for a spot in the Circus Collection–an elite global festival. When circus prodigy Mizuka Tsurumaki joins their ranks, the Sunflower Circus’s fortune shifts, finally giving them a shot at big top glory.

In 1950s Japan, penniless Mizuka meets two circus girls, sparking a dream-filled new beginning.

With the Sumeragi Group’s elite troupe, the "Blue Rose Circus," nearby, the "Sunflower Circus" faces a predictably poor turnout for its next performance. Mizuka, having resolved to take the stage as a performer, nervously peeks out at the audience. After confiding her anxiety to Ouka in the wings, she trusts Ouka's advice—"look at the audience before you fly"—and Mizuka steps onto the trapeze.

9. Is All That Kindness Just a Lie?
Maria collapses from exhaustion, and Rin fiercely scolds the troupe for causing chaos at the hospital.

10. Beyond the Stage of Dreams
The "Sunflower Circus" has been granted permission to participate in the "Circus Collection Japan Tournament."

Mizuka and Ouka are unable to hide their growing anxiety, pushing themselves with excessive training.
